A Former SSA Decision-Maker - Now on Your Side
Before joining Carmichael Law Group, Wymon served for over a decade as a Senior Attorney Advisor with the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearing Operations, where he worked directly with Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) on some of the most complex disability cases in the system .
In that role, Wymon:
- Reviewed and adjudicated Title II (SSDI) and Title XVI (SSI) disability claims
- Drafted fully favorable ALJ decisions in complex medical and vocational cases
- Prepared legal analyses for Federal court remands, Appeals Council remands, and drug/alcohol materiality cases
- Developed medical and vocational expert interrogatories
- Advised ALJs on Social Security Regulations, Rulings, and Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
- Conducted pre-hearing conferences, including with unrepresented claimants
Simply put: Wymon knows exactly how disability cases are evaluated behind the scenes - because he helped write the decisions.
